Reviews
The Hudson Theater is truly a remarkable venue. I had the opportunity to watch Arthur Miller's 'Death of a Salesman' there, and the experience was exceptional. The atmosphere inside the theater is simply superb.
One of the unique features is the lobby, which houses a mini bar where you can purchase drinks and even enjoy them while watching the play. This adds a delightful touch to the overall theater experience.
In summary, the Hudson Theater provides not only outstanding performances but also a well-crafted atmosphere that enhances the enjoyment of the arts. It's a place where you can savor both the play and your favorite beverage, making it a memorable evening out.
Here to see “Merrily” tonight, we bought in the presale and the ticket prices have doubled. Nice little theatre with intimate feel.
Don’t miss Daniel at the exit. He’s so generous and caring to his fans.
Great theatre! Spacious seats with good leg room. The bar service was quick and used real glassware.
Pretty comfortable. Great sight lines, even for my balcony seat. The restroom situation was not the best though. Overall it was a positive experience.
Just saw the first Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along here and it was phenomenal. Daniel Radcliffe is an incredible singer. Was a little disappointed not seeing Lindsay Mendez in this afternoon’s performance. Also wished the theatre had an elevator and the seats were a little wider and had more leg room
Watched Death of a Salesman here ($62 balcony tickets) and it was an amazing production!
We had a balcony seat and I believe the way the theater is set up you can see and hear clearly from any angle. So if you want to save and purchase cheaper sitting, you will not miss out on a quality experience!
There is food and drink options across several floors and the rest rooms are clean and easy to access.
The show I watched was 3 hours long and I felt very comfortable in the theater and afterwards!
Highly recommended!
Older theater. Each section is small so no seats are bad. Had mezzanine and balcony. Sat in last row and was still good view. Have now seen 3 shows there this year.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but Merrily we roll along was ok, not great.
The music was sweet, but not memorable. The young child got more applause than the three stars.
The actors did an excellent job. But maybe there's a reason this play hasn't been successful in the past.
